We are looking for a Bass to round out our octet.

Do you like Voces8, King’s Singers, Voctave, Real Group, Chanticleer?   Well so does NOTA!  NOTA is an established a cappella group in the greater Boston area.  We sing everything from early music to modern “academic” pieces, pop, jazz, show tunes, folk songs and spirituals. Rehearsals are Monday evenings in Acton with gigs scheduled throughout the year.

If you love singing a variety of musical styles in a challenging, creative, yet friendly and fun-loving environment, NOTA is the a cappella group for you!

We are looking for someone with:

• A vocal range that includes D2 (two Ds below middle C)
• Prior choral or contemporary a cappella experience, particularly the ability to blend in small groups with close harmonies
• Interested in singing occasional solos (although that is not a focus of the group)
• Engaging stage presence and the willingness to do some simple choreography.
• Arranging ability is a plus, but not required.
• This is NOT a paid position. (All monies are used for the group.)
