About None of the Above

None of the Above, formed in 2003, is a semi-professional singing ensemble in the Boston, MA area. Our repertoire is a diverse mix of music from all genres from early music to modern works including popular music and jazz. We have performed at venues large and small in the Worcester-Boston area. The group has just completed its demo CD and is now working toward a full release later this year. Stay tuned!

About Slapdash Graduate

Slapdash Graduate is the end result of years of toil, blood, sweat, tears, screaming matches, fistfights, atomic retaliation and endless matches of MarioKart. There are no background tracks. There are no pre-recorded tracks. There are no drum tracks. There are no guitar tracks. There are no bass tracks. There is ONLY the human voice. ...and some kickass effects...

About In the Moment

In The Moment is a group of seven women, dedicated to their passion for a cappella, amidst the complications of life with 7 husbands, 14 children, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a variety of careers! Since 1999, they have been devoting their vocal talent and contagious sense of fun to entertaining audiences at concert halls, festivals, fundraisers, and private parties. From pop to jazz, doo-wop to hip hop, they do it all, and take pride in their versatility. Refusing to be "desperate housewives," they consistently challenge themselves to take musical risks, while remaining true to a quality sound that is uniquely their own."

About Boston Jazz Voices

Boston Jazz Voices is a mixed a cappella chorus of eighteen singers. It was founded in the mid 1980's (as The New England Close Harmony Ensemble) for the pleasure of singing the distinctive and harmonically complex arrangements of Gene Puerling who sang and arranged for the Singers Unlimited and the Hi Los. Boston Jazz Voices has since extended its repertoire to include other published and original arrangements. Most songs are from the American songbook, with jazz harmonies and swing rhythm. Boston Jazz Voices performs throughout New England, and took its sound to Paris in the mid 1990's. Boston Jazz Voices has also performed live on 88.9 WERS Boston, East Coast Summits, First Night in Boston and Fenway Park. They have a CD coming out this year - stay tuned on their website for the latest news about BJV's CD and doings.
Boston Jazz Voices is directed by John Paquette.

About Firedrill!

On paper Firedrill! doesn't make sense. On CD Firedrill! barely even exists. Fortunately for the Boston-based septuplets, Firedrill! audiences leave shows with a clear understanding of what the group is about. Some call it, "Singing without music." Others note the ever-present mutual ex-girlfriend and the, um, unique chemistry that results. However you say it, Firedrill!'s focus remains taking seven voices, seven day jobs and a Honda Civic-full of unpredictability and making fun, classy music. The group favors dynamics over boyband-ish gimmics, contagious enjoyment of songs over color-coordination and (of course) men over women. I mean, uh, in the sense of who's allowed in the group. Except the ex-girlfriend, Sasha, who is the keystone of a fragile arch of entangled emotional baggage. Careful what you say, oh heckler...

About Lowell Gentlemen Songsters

The Gentlemen Songsters are representing all The Lowell Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society and all of the chapters in the area. We all meet weekly to learn about vocal production, singing in harmony, performance techniques, and above all have a great time doing it. We do have a love for the chords and lyrics that are unique to the barbershop style. While our meetings are fun, there is nothing more enjoyable than sharing our music with you. While we hope that we will be able to "wow" you with with our musical skill, we are unique in that we are the only group in today's show that has time built into their rehearsal schedule to help teach YOU how to be a part of the fun from the stage. There is a Barbershop Harmony chapter near you that wants you to join.
